Since 1975, Donna has taught drawing and painting, color theory and design to adults in California and more recently in Oregon where she currently lives. She paints in acrylics and has work in permanent public and private collections including the city of Thousand Oaks, California and at the Riverbend Medical Clinic in Springfield, Oregon. Her love and expressive use of color is characteristic of all her paintings. She currently hosts a shared painting studio where adult students watch her paint and utilize her studio to work on their own paintings. Her two passions - painting and teaching - continue to dominate her time and energy. Donna succeeded her recent - May 9, 2018 - father's death: Wesley E. Grunden is succeeded by his three children: Dr. Margaret Ann Grunden Potchatek, Earl Dean Grunden and Donna Mae Grunden Beverly.
